Rule of thumb for a novel spine on 80 g bulky paper: about 1 mm per 20 pages, so 10 mm for 200 pages. Perfect binding usually needs at least 48 pages.

For a 150-page book with its text ready, one week is enough between handing over the manuscript and delivery of the boxes, if you review quickly. Turnaround is counted in working days.

Do you print dissertations and theses?
Yes. We format the document to your school's standards (margins, headings, contents, bibliography, page numbering), design the cover, then print and perfect-bind the number of copies required, delivered before the submission date. On request, an honour copy in hardcover, cloth-bound and foiled, for your parents or your supervisor.
Can you print a book that is already laid out?
Yes. Send the PDF: we check every page before printing and flag anything that needs fixing. For a few dozen copies, digital printing is the right choice; beyond a few hundred, offset becomes more economical. A reprint of a book we have already made is ordered with a simple message.
Which binding should I choose?
Saddle-stitched up to about 64 pages (programme, magazine). Perfect bound from 48 pages (novel, report, dissertation, catalogue). Sewn when the book must last and open wide (coffee-table book, life story). Hardcover for an object to keep (honour copy, album). Wire-O when the document must lie flat (training material, procedure manual).
How can you design a book in 72 hours?
Because design happens in-house, with a dedicated team, proven templates and modern tools. We cut no corners: the same art direction, the same three rounds of revisions, the same check print. What disappears is the waiting, not the care.
What exactly do the 72 hours cover?
Your first full proof, cover included, for a document of up to 150 pages of running text: book, booklet, programme, annual report, magazine. The clock runs in working days from the moment we have the final text, the photos and the deposit. Each round of revisions comes back within 24 hours. After your approval, printing and delivery in Douala take 48 hours. Beyond 150 pages, for a heavily illustrated book, hardcover binding, foil or more than 500 copies, the timeline is set in the quote.
How much does printing a book cost in Douala?
It depends mainly on page count, paper, colour and print run. A 200-page black-and-white novel on cream paper doesn't cost the same as a colour hardcover. We price printing after layout, with two or three print-run scenarios to choose from.
How many copies should I print to start?
For a first book, a digital run of 100 to 300 copies limits the risk. Offset becomes worthwhile beyond a few hundred copies. Remember the six legal-deposit copies and review copies.
I live abroad. Can I publish in Cameroon?
Yes. Everything happens on WhatsApp and email: sending the manuscript, approving the proof, payment. We deliver copies to your family or your sales point in Cameroon.
Who owns the rights to the book?
You do. Indaprint is a production provider: we take no royalties and no share of your sales. You receive your book's source files on delivery.
Do you make books in English?
Yes, in French, English and bilingual editions. We follow each language's own typographic conventions, which differ.
